Wedding Videographer and Photographer at Holland Barn

Holland Barn does more in one property than almost any venue in Northwest Arkansas. Five different places to hold a ceremony, a real getting ready room for each side, a dance floor people actually fill, and enough open ground to land a helicopter or send fireworks up after dark. It sits on open meadow three miles outside Bentonville, close enough to XNA that guests flying in can make the rehearsal dinner the same afternoon.

The catch is that all that choice is still a choice. We have shot here enough to help you make it well.

What Holland Barn Is Like to Film

The property gives you contrast, which is what a film needs. Ceremonies happen outside in daylight, wide and bright. Receptions move into the barn, 3,800 square feet with lofted ceilings, warm and enclosed and lit. Two completely different looks in one afternoon, and nobody loses half an hour to a car ride between them.

The meadow and terraces are where portraits happen. Late afternoon light comes across clean, with no buildings or power lines to work around, which is rarer around here than you would think.

Kaylee and Jonathan were married at Holland Barn in May. They said their vows outdoors on the lawn in front of Amy’s Chapel, then lifted off the meadow by helicopter while their guests watched from the lawn. Everyone walked over to the barn for dinner and dancing after. No shuttle, no gap, no half hour lost to a drive.

Where You Can Hold the Ceremony

There are five ceremony spots on this property. Couples who tour Holland Barn usually leave trying to decide between them, so here is what each one is actually like once the chairs are out and the light is doing what it does.

  • In front of Amy’s Chapel. Chairs on the lawn with the weathered board and the arched windows behind you. This is what Kaylee and Jonathan chose, and it is what most of the photos on this page show.
  • Inside Amy’s Chapel. Wooden pews, stained glass, and a much smaller guest count. Intimate and dim, so it is the one that most affects how we light and where we stand.
  • In front of the main barn. The tall doors open behind you and the barn fills the frame.
  • Behind the main barn. A different backdrop and a different sun angle, which matters more than couples expect.
  • Inside the barn. Your rain plan, and a deliberate choice for some couples who want the whole day under one roof.

What We Have Learned Shooting Here

  • The ceremony spot you choose matters more than the ceremony time you choose. Pick the location first and we will build the hour around it.
  • Amy’s Chapel is beautiful and dim inside. If you are marrying in there, we bring light rather than pushing the camera and living with the noise.
  • Both sides get a real room to get ready in. The bridal room for the bride and her bridesmaids, the loft upstairs for the guys. Most venues around here give one side a proper room and the other a closet.
  • The dance floor is big enough that people actually use it. A full floor is the difference between a reception that looks fun and one that was fun.
  • The tall barn doors are the best backdrop on the property. Open, they frame a couple. Closed, they read as texture.
  • The barn goes dark quickly once the sun drops. We light the reception on purpose so it stays warm instead of muddy.
  • We have filmed a helicopter send off and a fireworks display here. Both need us in position ahead of time, so bring them up early rather than as a surprise.

Questions We Get About Holland Barn

We have not picked a ceremony spot yet. Does that change your quote?
No. We cover the whole property either way. It changes the timeline we build for you, not the price, so tell us when you decide.

Our ceremony is outside. What happens if the weather turns?
The barn can take the whole event. We have shot enough outdoor ceremonies here to move quickly when the call gets made late.

How many people from your team will be at our wedding?
It depends what you book. One service on its own is one or two of us. Photo and film together is two or three. Add a second shooter or content creation and we scale up from there. Our team always works together, so whoever is on your wedding is not meeting the rest of us for the first time that morning.

Do you charge travel to Highfill?
No. Holland Barn is inside our normal Northwest Arkansas coverage area.

Single service collections start at 3500. Photo and film together starts at 5500. Every collection is built around full day coverage, because the parts of a wedding people cry over rarely happen on schedule.

Haziel is a husband and wife studio with a small crew we have shot alongside for years. We take a limited number of weddings each season so the people on your day are rested, familiar with each other, and not running three events that weekend.
